The Verkroost Collection is our little corner of the web, profiling our properties in the vibrant centre of Paris and the peace of the rural Suffolk countryside. Both are available for rental all year round and provide luxurious retreats for the discerning holidaymaker.
With breathtaking views over the city centre and the Eiffel tower, 'Paris With a View' is located in Montmartre – known as the last village of Paris. The area has a wealth of restaurants and entertainment venues, and easy access to the heart of this cultural and historical city.
Recently refurbished throughout, 'Paris With a View' can accommodate up to 4 guests in complete comfort, with a fully equipped kitchen and luxury bathroom facilities.
For peace and tranquillity within the depths of rural Suffolk, Middleton Granary offers real luxury and a chance to unwind and relax.
Overlooking a picturesque vineyard in the heart of stunning countryside, Middleton Granary is a 16th century listed-building, refurbished to offer luxury and comfort. An ideal setting for the perfect break.
The Granary can accommodate up to four guests in spacious and superbly renovated accommodation, including a fully equipped kitchen and luxury shower room facilities.

The apartment is spacious, bright and airy. A large open hallway connects an elegant living room, the kitchen, bathroom and the bedroom.
The living room, with original parquet flooring and marble fireplace has been decorated with a combination of Asian artwork and European decor. The large floor to ceiling French windows bring in lots of natural light and provide a stunning view over the Paris rooftops and of course of the Eiffel Tower. Pictures don't do the view justice so so you'll just have to come see for yourself.
The comfortable sofa can be converted into a double bed, accommodating two people. This room contains everything from a fold-out dining table to flat screen TV and DVD player.
The view of the Eiffel Tower can be seen from either the living room or the bedroom windows. You will be entertained nightly on the hour with the twinkling lights of the most visited monument in the world.
The large bedroom is warm and inviting. Wood flooring, a fireplace and large French windows reflect the era of its construction. A large king-size bed can also be separated into two single depending on your needs.
The kitchen has been newly renovated and is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to prepare home-cooked meals or enjoy some of the catered take-away meals from one of the many shops on rue des Abbesses. The kitchen is both elegant and modern. We have also provided a combination washer/dryer and dishwasher.
The bathroom has also undergone a complete re-design with a contemporary feel including a rain shower for a spa-like shower enclosure. Warm up your towels on the heated towel rack and you will indeed feel like you are in a spa.

Living | The open plan living space on the first floor provides a contemporary setting for relaxing in this beautiful old barn. Double-height windows bring in light all year round and give excellent views of paddocks and the rolling Suffolk countryside. There is also an easy-to-use bio-fuel burning stove for cooler evenings and an under-floor eco-friendly heating system on both floors provides warmth in all seasons.
You'll find a TV (with Freeview), DVD player and a radio/CD player.
The room comprises of a sitting area which includes a sofabed, an area for writing and games with a table and 4 chairs and an area for reading.
Eating | The ground floor has an open plan kitchen and dining area which opens to the outside with fully open sliding glass doors. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, utensils, Gaggia coffee machine, toaster, kettle and washing machine. It is also stocked with essentials such as olive oil, butter, milk, tea, coffee, etc (a full list is available upon booking).
Sleeping | The downstairs bedroom has twin beds and an en-suite walk-in shower room with under-floor heating, washbasin, toilet and a heated towel rail. This bedroom sliding glass doors opening onto the courtyard garden, a full length mirror, wardrobe, dressing table with mirror.
The second bedroom upstairs can be arranged to suit your needs: one double bed or two singles. This bedroom has an en-suite shower room with toilet, hand basin and heated towel rail.
Luxury Egyptian cotton linen is provided along with feather duvets, pillows, slippers, luxury white towels and complimentary French toiletries.
Outside | There is an enclosed private garden accessed via sliding glass doors from the kitchen and downstairs bedroom. Both lead onto a large paved patio area with plenty of seating. There is parking at the side of the house for two or three cars.
